You can try retail sites such as Williams Brewing http://www.williamsbrewing.com/index.cfmThey will have introductory kits that describe the basics but quite frankly, I would start by visiting a local retailer of beer making supplies if such a place exists where you live. There are also a number of books available on the subject although some of them get a bit technical. Making beer at home can be a lot of fun and satisfying, but don't expect to save a lot of money, particularly if you value your time. Making good beer is all about process control and to some extent this is beyond the capabilty of all but the most sophisticated home brewer. You can absolutely make good beer, just dont expect to make exactly the same beer twice. Making beer is a lot of fun. Enjoy yourself!
